XI For IX - Episode One: Legacy In Motion

Head Coach Todd Yeagley reflects on his father Jerry’s legendary impact and the foundation of Indiana Soccer’s enduring culture. The story shifts to goalkeeper Holden Brown and midfielder Josh Maher, whose personalities and passions embody the program’s balance of individuality and tradition. From thrift-store fashion debates to plain Chipotle orders, these players reveal the human side of Hoosier greatness. But beneath the humor lies a shared obsession — the pursuit of a ninth national title.

The project: This episode is from a three-part series done for a course I took at Indiana University. For this specific episode, I edited it in its entirety, conducted interviews, helped map out the story line, and assisted in the filming process with a team of roughly fifteen other students.

Commercial Concept for Bombas

The project: For this video, I worked with two other students to create a hypothetical commercial for the sock brand Bombas. The commercial was built on Bombas' marketing plan of giving away a pair of socks for every one purchased. The video was edited in full by me, including the voiceover.

The Lone Mechanic: Greg's Story

Hundreds of students attempt to compete in the Little 500 every April. About 264 riders on 66 teams race on 185 bicycles. Greg Souder is the lone mechanic responsible for keeping everyone's bike in competitive shape.

The project: For this story, I worked with a writer and a graphic designer to cover Greg over the course of the semester. I was responsible for the photo and video work that would eventually end up in the finished article.
